Will the event be filmed and photographed?

Yes. We’ll have videographers and photographers onsite to record the action at Tableau Conference on Tour. BY ENTERING AND BEING AT THIS EVENT, YOU CONSENT TO BE FILMED AND PHOTOGRAPHED. From time to time, Tableau uses recorded video and photographs of conference events and attendees in its promotional materials. Unless permission to record and use such images is revoked in writing to Tableau, by virtue of their attendance, all conference visitors agree to the use of their likeness in such materials. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT ALL VIDEOGRAPHY AND PHOTOGRAPHY WILL BE DONE IN RELIANCE ON THE CONSENT YOU GIVE BY ENTERING THIS EVENT.

How will my credit card payment appear on my statement?

Conference fees for the 2014 Tableau Conference On Tour will show up on your credit card statement as TABLEAU.

I started my registration but didn’t finish. How can I complete my registration?

Go back to the registration page and enter your information. The registration portal will ask you if you would like to continue your existing registration or start a new registration.

I received a discount code. How do I apply it to my registration?

On the payment portion of the registration form, enter your discount code into the designated field on the page and click the apply button. The discounted total should be displayed before you continue with the payment process.

Discounts applied after registration is completed need to be sent to the Registrar.

Can I use more than one discount code (if applicable)?

Only one conference fee discount code may be used per attendee.

May I bring a guest?

Absolutely – the more the merrier! You can purchase a Guest Party Pass (see pricing above) that covers admittance to both the Welcome Reception & Appreciation Party, which both include food and beverages. Please note: a Guest Party Pass will not allow access to any conference sessions, keynote addresses or any conference sponsored breaks or lunches during the day.

How do I request a copy of my receipt?

For copies of your receipt, simply e-mail the Registrar with your request.

How do I request a visa?

Is there a deposit required to hold my hotel room?

Tableau Software requires a credit card number at the time of making a reservation to secure your hotel room. Please note that your credit card will be charged one (1) night plus applicable taxes advance deposit. In the event of a no-show the credit card provided will be charged one (1) night room rate plus applicable taxes

Sydney: The Sheraton Hotel charges a deposit fee of (1) night's room rate plus applicable taxes. This charge will not be made until closer to the conference.

Hotel No-Show Policy: Failure to check-in on your scheduled arrival date is considered a No-Show by the hotel. The remaining reservation will be cancelled and the credit card provided will be charged charged for the full reservation plus applicable taxes.

What is the conference cancellation policy?

Cancellations received by the following dates will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee:

Cancellations received between the following dates will be refunded 50% of the pre-paid conference fee.

Cancellations received after the following dates will not be eligible for any refunds:

If for any reason the conference should be cancelled, Tableau Software will refund the full registration fee within 90 days of canceling the conference. Tableau Software is not responsible for airfare, hotel, or other costs. Conference cancellations should be emailed to the conference Registrar.

How do I cancel my hotel room?

Prior to receiving your hotel confirmation email, reservation cancellations will be accepted by email to the Housing Manager. After receiving your hotel confirmation email, contact your hotel directly to cancel your reservation. You may cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. In the event of a no-show or failure to cancel 14 days prior, the credit card provided will be charged for the full reservation plus applicable taxes. Cancellations of hotel rooms will only be accepted by email to TCC-Housing. Any other form of cancellation will not be applicable. The cancellation date for rooms is as follows:

You will be asked to provide a credit card to secure your hotel room. In the event of a no-show, you will be charged one night stay for the first night.

Can an attendee substitute a colleague if they can no longer attend?

If you are unable to attend the Tableau Conference, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please e-mail your transfer requests to the conference Registrar.
